Lawrence Phillips is Director of Safety and Security at Shore Medical Center based in Somers Point, New Jersey and is the Safety officer for his organization.
In this role, Larry oversees operation of the Safety, Security, and Emergency Management Programs, as well as all Emergency Preparedness efforts which include staff training and exercises. In his role as Safety Officer, he chairs Shore Medical Centers Environment of Care, Safety, and Emergency Preparedness Committees.
Larry is in his thirty-first year of healthcare Safety, Security, and Emergency Management. Larry spent 26 years at Good Samaritan health System in Lebanon, Pa. before his relocation to New Jersey, and has been at Shore Medical Center the last 5 years.

Dr. Alexander Kuc, MD, serves as Assistant EMS Medical Director and Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Cooper Medical School of Rowan University. Following an initial career in EMS he earned his medical degree from St. George’s University. Alex began his Emergency Medicine residency training at Drexel University in Philadelphia before ultimately graduating from Cooper after the closure of Hahnemann University Hospital. He then completed an Emergency Medical Services fellowship at Cooper and has since stayed on as faculty. Alex has served as Clinical Advisor to the Southern New Jersey Healthcare Coalition since 2021.
